Added Gibson to DePaul and made another round of ranking adjustments. Most incoming players got boosted, presumably due to several players electing to stay put.

Tally so far with updated rankings:

18 of top 122 on ESPN
17 of top 103 on Stadium
18 of top 97 on 247

Pretty sure the BE has the best net gain, but I'll do a more comprehensive look after the withdraw deadline for the draft and we know where the rest of the top transfers end up.

Coach Holloway retweeted a graphic yesterday that showed 50% of the players in the portal have not landed at a new school to date. 826 of the 1,626 are still "available."

Looks like there will be a mad dash for limited mid-major roster spots, and that's probably good for BE schools still looking for transfers. I would think DePaul, UCONN, Xavier, and maybe Marquette (if Lewis stays in the draft) can offer decent paths playing time. The problem is the few remaining highly ranked transfers will either stay in the draft or are heavily linked to non-BE suitors, except maybe Emoni Bates who was supposed to be a lock for Louisville weeks ago. Hopefully BE schools can identify a few hidden gems.

Updated the first post with latest and hopefully final round of transfer rankings.

Here's the conference breakdown of ranked transfers (at least 1 of the 3 lists I've used). Numbers won't add up because Emoni Bates and a couple of players are not committed yet.

Big East +17
ACC +9
SEC +6
B10 +6
Big 12 +1
PAC12 -2
AAC -7
Mid-majors -33
