It's important to note that starting this year, the NCAA deadline for transferring with immediate eligibility is May 1, not July 1 as it was last year. The next three weeks are going to be crazy, but that May 1 date is a huge help for coaches trying to finalize their rosters.

We've had 3 coaching changes, and it's kind of incredible that there are only 12 kids (most of them non-rotation players) transferring out of the conference so far. LSU alone has like 12 kids transferring out...

Ali Ali is the 1st incoming transfer for the conference. 6'8" Junior SF from Akron. ESPN had him ranked #42 in the transfer portal. Nice get for Matta!

A second-team All-MAC pick, Ali had a terrific season shooting the ball, making better than 40% of his 3-point attempts. Also averaged 13.9 points and 2.6 assists. Went for 17 against Ohio State in the season opener.

Added Brandon Murray to Georgetown. ESPN had him ranked #6 among all players in the portal. Huge get for Ewing.

Rob Phinisee from Indiana just announced Butler and Cincinnati as his final two as a 5th year transfer.

I am not very familiar with him, but his stats seems to indicate a pg who can't shoot. Didn't you guys have just that in Thompson?

Not BE related, but Dawson Garcia is back on the portal. He probably should have stayed at Marquette.
