If you're Creighton, do you root for SMU or Memphis? I'm leaning SMU...

Memphis has a better resume and is already in the field by a good amount of bracketologists. If you're Creighton, you probably don't wanna give SMU a quality win to push them onto the right side of the bubble too.

With that said, it'd be funny if "all the smoke" Penny lands in the NIT again so I may have to root for SMU.

just looking at the results- don't think they'd move up that much. maybe up to 80-81???

Even though their NET has improved 10 spots since Friday morning (I realize NET is only part of the NCAA formula though)? 3 or 4 spots would still be decent given it was a Q3 game.

Edit: NET is actually up 12 spots now since Friday morning. Our Q1/Q2 record is pretty poor though.

It’s unreal what the impact of St. John’s drubbing Butler had on their net. Sort of shows just how flawed that metric is.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

I think some of it and where I think they could do a better job of showing it by showing the rating- a lot of teams are packed up closely. Also had 2 of their other wins win on Friday night so SOS improved some.

I'm guessing a lengthy suspension for Howard, and some of the players as well. It would be crazy if Phil Martelli can take Michigan to the tourney.

all that was added though is a Q3 win to Butler. Others close to you guys had similar type of win.

I think it's worked out ok for Creighton, at least short term if bracketville's placement of these teams are accurate. AAC could end up earning 3 bids or just 1 bid.

will be interesting to see tomorrow that's for sure. lot of changes this weekend.

Wonder how far Marquette will drop. They really don't have any other shots regular season now to improve profile either. Butler, @ DePaul, and St John's. 2 Q2 and a Q3.

Sounding like Willard wasn't BSing about Aiken bring shut down for good. Brutal blow for the Hall. And to think at the time we were just annoyed that the foul was called on him taking that elbow to the face. Turns out it cost us a lot more than just the game.
