If they continue to play the way they did this past week, they won't make the tournament. Nor would they deserve to be there.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

Xavier realistically needs 2 more wins, and they still have a game left with Georgetown to make the tournament. If they can get 1 between Providence, Seton Hall, and St John's and then beat Georgetown- they're going to be safe. Now if they lose to Georgetown all bets are off.

Yeah, I just don't think they're gonna lose to Georgetown. Even at the level played this past week, they wouldn't lose to Georgetown. Both games involved a few minute run where Xavier was just awful and St. John's/UConn was great, and that decided the game. Just about every single Xavier loss has occured because there were a few minutes where they were horrible, while otherwise playing well in the game, and the opponent was good enough to build a big lead. Georgetown quite frankly isn't good enough to exploit that.

Right. Where I would disagree with you is that they've already squandered good seeding. I think they're probably on that 8-9 line right now. It's gonna be a challenge just getting back up to the 6 line, let alone anything higher than that.

Oh no, I don't think the squandering hasn't happened yet. I just think there's room for it to get worse.

lol. I actually think if it did get worse, that would be an improvement. better to be a 11 seed than it is a 8-9 seed.

don't think Nova jumps up that high- over Texas Tech, Baylor, and Purdue(2 of 3 beaten them earlier in the year).

Providence will be interesting. In college football after the committee does their ratings you often time see the polls adjust to their ratings. Providence would be a good example of that perhaps. .

UConn I see having a decent jump up though.
