Hall and Xavier should be higher.

UCONN dropped more than I thought they would.

Providence still behind Tech and Wisconsin... lmao

Creighton got a vote!

Nova with losses to 1,3,4 has something to do with it I think...

UConn I'm actually not so surprised about. Some of it is very few teams around them lost. when that happens, you're going to drop some.

I agree about Nova, but yeah as you mentioned the other teams are mostly undervalued so I guess it balances out some.

Also with regards to Nova, even though their OOC has been a bit of a disappointment their NET is also #9, so they're doing more than fine.

Nova is going to be interesting. Yeah they have a great NET for sure. But they also are entering conference play with only 1 Q1 win. Right now the way the conference is rated, they'd have 10 Q1 shots, with 7 of those on the road. They're going to have a pretty interesting resume for sure.. Especially if this year they're for them "only" like 13-7 or something like that in conference play.

BE teams other than Nova's gotta scratch and claw to earn these ranks. SEC's got 6 ranked teams but look at what they've done..

Auburn's best win is Loyola
Tennessee's best win is UNC
LSU's best win is @GT
Kentucky's best win is... Ohio?
Arkansas' best win is Cinci?

This is a joke.

Yeah, Providence should be in, but these voters are not logical. In Creighton's case 4 voters had BYU (a team we beat soundly) in and only one voted for the Jays. Our 2 losses are to undefeated top 25 teams their 2 losses are to unranked teams. Makes no sense, but Providence is a much better case for top 25 and should be in!

Yes, Nova has 3 losses but let's remember that they're too teams currently ranked 1, 3 and 4.

The biggest disappointment to me is how far UConn fell since I doubt it leaves a scenario where we see both them and Providence in the poll next week.

Well 4 points doesn't mean 4 voters. Both Creighton and BYU had only one voter voting for them, but BYU's voter had them at 22nd so their points are higher than Creighton's.

Yeah the SEC is definitely overrated, they only have 4 top 50 NET teams (though all 4 are in the top 12, so 4 AP teams would be reasonable).

Big East is mostly in line with their NET rankings, but they also tend to have bigger wins than other teams in their range so I'd rank them a bit higher. I totally agree about UConn... they're missing a couple big pieces and barely lost to #53 WVU on the road. Also beat #83 Bonnies at home. Their NET is also #15... no way they should've dropped 5 spots.

You are right, I missed that possibility. Still would like to hear that voter's logic though.

So, Texas Tech is ranked 25th. 164 votes. Yet, Providence has the same record and beat TT has 57 votes.

There is no logic, it's just a lazy f****r from Oregon not taking his job seriously.
