eye of the jay wrote:Kentucky doesn’t deserve to be ranked at all. Just got beat at a pedestrian Notre Dame - only wins over cupcakes (and Ohio) all at home. Florida and Wisconsin should drop out, too. BE should have 4 if Hall and Xavier win their rivalry games this weekend. Heck Providence deserves to be ranked with 3 Q1 wins, but clearly getting no love from the voters.

BYU will drop for sure. Texas deserves to be dropped, but that pre-season bias... lol

Have to think Xavier will be ranked, would be ridiculous if they aren't. #18 in NET before today's results.

so looking-
16 USC won E Kentucky, Long Beach St Sun
17 Iowa St won Iowa, Jackson St Sun
18 Auburn won Nebraska
19 Mich St won Minnesota, Penn St
20 Florida lost Texas Southern, beat North Florida (easy out)
21 Ohio St beat Towson, Wisconsin
22 Wisconsin beat Indiana, lost Ohio St(maybe out)
23 Seton Hall beat Texas, Rutgers Sun
24 BYU beat Utah St, lost Creighton(easy out)
25 LSU beat Ohio Georgia Tech

so 2 easy outs. 1 maybe out

26 Colo St beat Miss St
27 Xavier beat Ball St, Cincy
28 Illinois beat Iowa, lost Arizona
29 UNC beat Elon
30 St Bonaventure beat Loyola Md, lost UConn
31-34 all lost as well

Xavier lock to be in. Colorado St as well. I think the final spot would be between Wisconsin and Illinois. Seton Hall would be in with those 2 as well if they lose with 2/3 getting in.

Still a little time to put some meat on the bone OOC before the blood bath begins.

Creighton with the big jump. They look good and will eagerly participate in the aforementioned.

Novas loss in Waco actually moved us back to #1 Conference RPI.

Stayed #2 in NET. Nova didn’t drop in either RPI OR NET

So there’s that.

Actually now after the Maryland upset of Florida, Big Ten is back at #1.

Will be interesting to see how it changes after the SH/Rutgers game.
