They've been a disaster the last 12 years. ACC has not been kind to them.

Well yes, BC is routinely a disaster, but overall... If they didn't have a p5 name there's a shot it could be a 1 bid league. I see them on pace for 3 right now - Duke, UNC and Wake Forest - and I could see the latter 2 falling off. Would anyone else step up enough to replace them? Are there enough good opportunities in conference play? Duke may run the table.

Lurking over at theAAACKK board.... because WCC is just too enjoyable to laugh at.

Check out what this Houston fan did... poor bastards in that conference are getting trolled every day by the majority of posters, who are all from the schools that are LEAVING... check out what this Houston Cougar fan did here:

I do think it'll be interesting to see how programs like North Texas, Charlotte, and UTSA do with extra resources(not to mention UAB).

I think one thing that will happen with all of the moves is that the number of conferences that can get multiple bids will be MUCH lower. I think it's going to be limited to A10, AAC, MWC, and WCC.

Big 12 I think will be fine. lose 2 really good programs, but pick up in Houston a really good program, Cincy and BYU are both pretty good, and UCF has some potential. Will be really interesting if they go 18 or 20 conference games.

Minnesota just beat Michigan by 10.

Michigan up there with Memphis, Oregon for most disappointing team of the year so far.

Charlotte was pretty good the last time they were in a conference with decent basketball schools. I don't think they'll ever get back to old Conference USA levels (where they got bids just about every year) but they could be an every-other or every-third year kind of team. UNT has some decent recent basketball history but hard to know if it's sustainable. UTSA I don't see doing much in basketball. They only have 4 bids in their history (admittedly not worlds worse than UNT, but worse) and the last one was 10 years ago. UAB should be a good basketball addition. It will be interesting to watch.

We really need the A10 to step up. So many great basketball programs that are just dropping off the face of it. Dayton has done their part, but the rest are just not doing it. Makes me sick seeing the SECheat and all their dirty bowl cartel money laundered through their B-Ball teams.

The thing is with all these moves- so many more teams now in the F5 plus BE
ACC- 15
B12- 12
B10- 14
P12- 12
SEC- 16
BE- 11
total there of 80.

So 4 extra teams there.

Yeah, sux but I suppose the bright side of the B1G getting 9 teams in is them going 8-9 and only 1 making it to the second weekend like last year :D
