If we're talking about at-large, it's an extra nice win because it was on the road.

The difference between a win and lose here was so huge. win and they're no worse than 8-3 in OOC play. Loss and 7-4 comes squarely in play.

Makes it where if they can get to 10-10, they should be pretty safe.

Winning ugly. A beautiful thing.

Huge, huge, huge win for the potential of the season. MU still may not make the NCAAT, but they have a legitimate pathway now, something that was unthinkable at the start of the season. Smart should be an early candidate for COY, as he has completely transformed MU Basketball in just a few months time.

Tonight's heroes - Elliott and Jones - were Wojo recruits and commits. As poor as his tenure ended, he still deserves some credit for getting these two into the program. Thankful they are here.

Shaka having coached at Texas probably helped him tonight that final play knowing what Weber would draw up(terrible looking whatever it was).

I like what I'm seeing from Shaka and team. He seems so much more engaged than he was at UT. He almost seems to have that same edge of scrappy underdogs that he had while at VCU. Either way, MU is going to be a tough out.

UConn with a tough loss. Full strength, they win that one comfortably. The foul call on Polley was trash. That was about as clean a block as you are going to see. Little things in that last minute sealed their fate--Akok's missed assignment on the rebound, Jackson and Whalley not being able to finish those 2nd chance bunnies with a minute to play, Polley taking that ill-advised, rushed 3. They had the game in their grasp. Lastly didn't like Hurley's substitution pattern in the last 7-8 mins. Seemed there was a point where they could have put them away but he takes Cole out of the game and WVU goes on a run and gets right back in it. I know he needs a rest every now and again but I think it was right after he hit 2 straight 3's and the Mountaineers were reeling.

Great games from all 4 BE teams.

Watching Marquette under Shaka is a totally different experience compared to recent years-- it can get a little frenetic but i feel like the team is coached competently.

to me how I would phrase it- it feels like they have a backbone this year. Not just a bunch of mush if you will.
