(2) Thanksgiving 12 o'clock Big East Games

Horrible game-deciding call. The ref *wanted* to blow the whistle. Yesterday vs Auburn there were a couple of horrible calls too.

For anyone who didn't see it, UConn up 1 with ball, missed shot, UConn secured rebound but landed out of bounds cuz 2 Spartans shoved the Husky.

Spartans ball, their PG Hoggard drove to the hoop to the right, his layup attempt was stuffed by Cole cleanly, but ref whistled a foul. The foul was Cole's 5th foul. Hoggard hit both free throws for a 1 point lead.

UConn, without Cole running the point, threw a bad pass toward Sanogo, steal MSU, yadda yadda yadda... joke loss.

I wasted a half hour of my life on this shit.

I mean, it was a **horrible** call. And i don't buy the stuff about "UConn was stagnant, or, UConn had chances to put it away..." etc... like, wtf, UConn has to win the game multiple times? WTF? The game was handed to Michigan State. Huge, huge game for the conference handed to this sucky MSU team. Total disrespect to UConn.

And yes, ok, i'm on a sugar high after 4 pieces of apple pie, but holy sh-t what a freakin joke.

It's been pretty amazing how often the MTE has been a downfall for the league. At a level actually worse than this year even.

With only 11 OOC games- a bad MTE now can hurt your OOC more than ever before.

I'd hardly call this week though a freefall. Is it a great week? no. but end of the week I'd expect Nova(duh) and UConn(if they beat VCU) to be ranked for sure. I think Xavier might be ranked if they beat Va Tech. That's still not too bad. With some games left to make some noise.

Hoyas got beat up by San Diego St overnight. I know Patrick caught lightning in a bottle at BET last season, but there have to be people questioning if he’s the answer.

Georgetown is definitely the front runner for last place. They have St. Joe's next probably will be a competitive game.
