Marquette absolutely should be ranked regardless of result against the Bonnies, but I agree they likey won't be with a loss. Can we get 5 teams ranked on Monday?!

Well, Nova will definitely remain ranked.

As of now 2 teams are guaranteed a ranking on Monday: Villanova and Seton Hall.

UConn, Marquette and Xavier all have a shot depending on what happens tomorrow. Would be awesome to have 4 or 5 ranked teams in November. I don't believe that has happened before.

The league definitely deserves at least 4 ranked. I hope the AP is watching closely.

Agreed that 4-6 BE teams deserve rankings in the Top 25. Lil'Creighton will NEED at least 3-4 ranked BE teams in order to move up ourselves...with our weak non-conference slate. So come on Big East - geter done!
Colorado State won't move the needle, Ariz St/Iowa ST won't either. BYU is the only non-conf game of any seeming significance. C'mon X, SH, Marquette, Nova, UConn, and Johnnies!

BTTL 4 ATLANTIS :

UConn gets a pretty good draw in Auburn, Although S'cuse got the best draw with VCU.
The Huskies vs Loyola in the 2nd stanza will be a good matchup...with preferrably Baylor (but likely lucky-ass S'cuse) in the Finals.

And then hopefully hold those into conference play. If we could start conference play with 5 ranked... That would be phenomenal and potentially set the league up for 7 bids.

It's tough finding meaningful conference rankings without NET. I know Stever posted Massey earlier. Below is another... not sure if it's better or worse than Massey (probably worse since it's RPI... but hey it's something):

http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_conf_Men.html

1. Big East: 0.5941 (doesn't include #182 UConn, which would bring the average down)
2. Big Ten: 0.5690
...
32. Big Sky: 0.4123

That's a lot of separation between us and second place. I think it'd be incredibly tough to maintain this level of play, but if we do then we'd be talking 8 or 9 bids. If we get to 7 bids then I'd be thrilled.

Ah thanks- they have UConn in the correct conference.

Funny that the B1G is in second despite our dominance over them. We might even be helping them out some due to SOS (a flaw with RPI since it over-relies on that).
