I think more important than the conference challenges are these tournaments that are coming up. Marquette with a chance to play WV today and maybe St Bonaventure on Sunday where only top 50 is required for Q1 wins. Nova with Tennessee and UNC/Purdue this weekend. Creighton in the (forget about that one). Butler in the Maui Invitational with Houston, Texas A&M/Wisconsin, and then a 3rd good game. Seton Hall with Ohio St and then Florida if they can win. Providence with Northwestern and then Virginia or Georgia. UConn in Battle 4 Atlantis with Auburn, Michigan St/Loyola, and 3rd good game. Xavier in NIT with Iowa St and then Memphis/Va Tech. Georgetown in Wooden Legacy with San Diego St, and then USC hopefully.

These tournaments can be 2 or 3 really good games and set you way forward. Or lose 2-3 games and you're in a lot of trouble.

Agreed...let's not get ahead of ourselves. One game at a time.

The opportunities are in front of us and it is important that we take advantage - both as individual schools and as a conference. If we capitalize on these opportunities we will propel our teams and the BEAST up the respective ratings charts. Roll Big East, roll!

Checking scores on my phone and Temple appears to currently be down 31 to Boise State. Shame what they've done with that program. The New AAC won't be doing them any favors either.

Dunphy stuck around IMO about 2-3 years past his expiration date. And the SSS of Aaron McKie sure doesn't look good at all. Yet another alum coming back and not able to keep the program going. So many examples there.

Colorado St beats Bradley in the Paradise Jam which will help Creighton out some as CSU is a much stronger team so better for the SOS in rd 2. CSU is 55 in KP/Bradley is 200 currently. Could be them on Sunday and then Colorado(#44) on Monday.

Dec. 1 Texas Tech at Providence
Dec. 2 Kansas at St. John’s
Dec. 4 Iowa State at Creighton
Dec. 5 Xavier at Oklahoma State
Dec. 7 Butler at Oklahoma
Dec. 8 Marquette at Kansas State
Dec. 8 Connecticut at West Virginia
Dec. 9 Texas at Seton Hall

I don't think the B12 has playe a conference challenge yet. They haven't played as many difficult teams. Lets see after the B12-BE battle where things stand

What a comeback for them after being down by I think 16 was the most.

Colorado joins the PAC12 misery train.

CAA has surprised me so far. They've owned the A10 and has played P6 schools really tough.

Colorado losing hurts Creighton a smidge as now no Q1 chance possibly for the entire tourney. But makes 3-0 more likely which is good as well.
