If we could grab one of these games that would be huge.

I'm very curious about Wednesday when we play Indiana. This is exactly the type of golden opportunity game we lose in previous years and then we have to sweat for the rest of the season. Are we going to be the same old Johnnies and come out with a whimper in a season of big expectations, or are we going to finally be as good as expected and win this game? If we can grab a W here the Kansas game becomes playing with house money. If things shake just right, we may even be able to be in the top 25 if we beat Indiana and cupcake games leading up to Kansas. This is exactly the type of game the critics will say "See? Told ya so...overrated again" if we lose and "Wow, maybe they really are going to be special this yr" if we win. If we want to get the benefit of the doubt from critics who vote on the top 25, this is the game you need to win to legitimize yourself. It would also go a long way on selection Sunday.

Would be great to get one of these.

As for St. John's on Wednesday, I wouldn't say this is the type of game we'd lose in recent years. It's actually the type we'd win. Arizona, WVU, Duke, Syracuse, VCU, etc. The issues hit once conference play started. We've had pretty good OOC and poor BE showings. That said, it's been a while since we won a big OOC game like this in November. Would be really nice.

1 Game at a time...

Just win Johnnies!

Ditto for the Friars and Warrior/GE's!

Is Marquette ever going to play on their own floor or do they plan on using the Bucks' floor all year? Nbd for the first 2 but it would've been nice to see some MU branding for a game that should draw a solid tv audience.

Ugly start.

The results of this set of GG could be a bit lopsided. Hope I’m wrong.
