Chap, you held your own just fine with the pros.

But lose that damn hat!

Ha, thanks Dash, wait till you see the Big East episode!

Dash lost me when he said UConn was the second best team in the BE last year. wtf? Jays swept the Huskies, including a win in the BET and made it to the SS. Or does that mean UConn was second and Nova was 3rd?

Nicely done gents! Great insight and content. Agreed with a lot of the views--SJU scares me; X has to produce with 2 of the top 10 players in the league and other complimentary pieces; UConn is going to pound people into wins...

Also interesting convo on why we haven't seen more teams consistently in the Top 25. Clearly the BE is not as top heavy as the other conferences. ACC/B10/B12 always seem to have 3-4 heavy hitters at the top of the standings. We've been 1-1.5 most years. Whether it is UConn or X or SHU or SJU or Creighton or whomever...the bottom line is we need 2-3 programs to take that step forward and stay nationally strong for a few consecutive years. The BE has been a Tier 2 grind. Nova has stayed at or the near each year with a seemingly different team up there with them trying to knock them off--Creighton, then PC, then SHU, then X, then Butler, then Marq., then back to SHU and Creighton, then UConn. It seems to be them and 1 or 2 individual challengers at the top while watching the majority of the programs just beat the crap out of each other. Balance and parity makes it more difficult to put together a string of wins, and then get ranked.

Definitely true...while I do miss seeing all the top 25 teams on schedule in the old Big East, that was clearly because a handful of teams were always quite bad. They got feasted on by the top teams and you could actually count on wins before playing the game for the most part. Now, it's basically Nova as our clear consistent Final Four if not title contender and everyone else. Just getting a winning record in conference play is so difficult. I still remember a time when playing DePaul was as close to an auto W as possible. Just like Rutgers...but now DePaul is still dangerous even though they always finish in basement. Still usually competitive in games. My biggest concern with our conference is the NCAAT performance of teams not named Nova. We really need a few other teams to join the Nova tier and have constant success up top nationally, going deep into the tourney. We have too many teams that are good or great once every 4 years, but then they reload and fall back. Need more consistency, but it's tough since our coaches are poached by F5 schools.

Thanks to all who have watched the previews. It is a labor of love. I'm not looking to make a living on Youtube.

While I ask/beg for donations, the channels don't have enough viewership/subscribers to monetize them. If you would
be so kind as to actually watch the previews it will be a great help. I think Youtube grants improved rights to channels
with over 1000 views and my channel is edging up to that mark.

As they say - Like, subscribe, and click the bell for notifications. Thanks, gtmo.

MY Bad... it's 4000 views - literally a lifetime away,

The Late edition of the previews is up.

Jon Nyatawa, Omaha World Herald, offered a snippet for you guys - Jays, Big East, and Nat'l.
It's short but sweet.

What happened to Fanta, is he still trying to fix his microphone at BE media day? They need your Technical skills at the big East Shootaround... Media Day was bush league.

Fanta got the time wrong...and had a busy schedule back in September.

He's only gotten busier as October rolled thru. Will try and get him back next season.
