REminds me of a bit of routine housekeeping. Sometimes you gotta move furniture to really get at the dirt.
Also a possibility of addition by subtraction, athough it sounds as though the outgoing folks were positive in
their comments on the Johnnies.

Mike Anderson evidently does not like being overlooked. He and his staff are getting it done. We're gonna have
to reckon with this guy, as he means business. Nice...

That struck me too. Odd to see multiple guys leave a Big East program to play at a lesser level.

Thanks Git! Surprised to see so many transfers but sadly, this is the current world of college hoops....the only 2 that bummed me out were Greg Williams and Marcellus Earlington.....both were 3 year players and I was hoping to see them finish out their eligibility at SJU. Williams will graduate at the end of the summer, so I’m glad he’ll get his degree from SJU.

I think Mike Anderson is building a really nice program. The transfers coming in seem to fit his style of play and should be an overall upgrade on the talent level. I’m praying Julian comes back for another year. If so, I think we can compete for an NCAA bid.

Final landing spots of SJU transfers:

Marcellus Earlington - San Diego
Vince Cole - Coastal Carolina
John McGriff - Binghamton
Isaih Moore - Southern Miss
Greg Williams, Jr. - Louisiana Lafayette
Josh Roberts - Manhattan
David Caraher - High Point

If this is more on par with where these players belong, I’m amazed we finished 4th in the Big East this season.

Extra fireworks in Queens tonight

St. John’s forward Julian Champagnie has announced he’s returning to Queens for his junior year.

Massive news for the Johnnies.

The Red Storm should be a Top-4 team in the Big East next year and have NCAA Tournament expectations #SJUBB
