4 Tiers

I think at this point we have four tiers in the Big East with a shot for some mobility.

Tier 1: Nova, Creighton, Hall.

Tier 2: UConn, Johnnies, Xavier

Tier 3: Friars, Marquette, Butler

Tier 4: Georgetown, DePaul

While this follows the standings generally, there is definite room for movement and UConn and Hall could flip and Xavier could drop. The Johnnies could move up if things go very well in the last four games but seem to be solid in the second group. Butler could also drop. Should be a fun last few weeks of games.

I'd drop the Hall to tier 2. Or maybe alone as 1.5? Idk...they're 0-4 against Nova and Creighton, which tells me they don't belong there but they're also 10-1 against everyone else.

Seton Hall has a 1% chance of winning the league title. They’ve been swept by the top two teams. Definitely not in the same group as CU and Nova.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

It's certainly not likely- they'd need to win out and get some help from whoever loses the Nova-Creighton rematch, but given what the Hall lost from last season a league title was never an expectation.

I’d go with the 5-layer cake:

Tier 1: Nova, Creighton

Tier 2: Hall

Tier 3: UConn, Johnnies, Xavier

Tier 4: Friars, Marquette, Butler

Tier 5: Georgetown, DePaul

I’m hoping the Jays get some help from Tier3 and have the icing on the cake :D

Man, if Georgetown didn't drop 5 straight Big East games they would look so much better. Lost 3 hard games non-con to Navy (12-2), #11 WV and Syracuse.
