SJU was 12th team out according to bracketville's 2/2 projection, and a bunch of team ahead of them are trending down this week so far. You'd have to think they're in or just outside at this point.

I think the magic number for St. John’s is getting to 11 wins in conference. 6-6 currently, a 5-2 finish should get them. And with 4 home games left for them they definitely have a chance to get there. If they come up a little short and end with 10 conference wins, maybe a BET win could get it done for them

And we are here.

Congratulations on your win over Villanova, but there’s still a lot of bubble teams in play, and a lot of time for things to change.

Well at least the johnnies are in play for a bid now but the competition for at large bids is incredibly fierce like always, I mean how is Creighton slipping down to 8-9 seeds, thats too harsh imo.

Lack of quality non-con wins. That one point loss at KU was our only real chance. Plus losing home games to poor NET opponents hurts the metrics quite a bit.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Hate to burst your bubble (like Duquesne), but there's more to the formula than just NET. We actually made the Tournament 2 years ago with an awful NET of #72 (which was obviously an outlier, but still happened). St. John's was absolutely on the bubble when you posted (see above posts), and now they're arguably on the right side of the bubble after picking up another Q2 win.

Good stuff. I think by tomorrow we'll be IN more brackets than OUT.
