Bouknight “out indefinitely” after elbow surgery

Surprised this hasn’t garnered more attention. Initially it sounded like a minor injury but now that it has required surgery and he is going to miss even more time, how concerned are UConn fans? Bouknight might be the best player that I have seen this year in the league and hope he gets healthy by tourney time.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Very concerned even though Goodman is saying 2-4 weeks. We have had an insane amount of injuries since the '14 Natty. Unbelievable.

That really is a shame... hate to see it for any of these kids, particularly in this shit show of a season.

Ya, I hope it doesn't affect his draft stock. I also wouldn't hold it against him if he opts out even if given the green light to return. Great kid and a key piece to the rebuild.

That crossed my mind too.

Tough injury for UCONN. Hopefully he is able to come back. I would think he would want to play if he is cleared. It was a freak injury and very unlikely something like that would happen again. However, if he is a lottery pick, lots of money involved.

Could be wrong, but I doubt an elbow injury hurts his draft position too much. Hopefully Goodman's report is accurate.
