Why does it always feel like everyone shoots miles over their heads from 3 against us?

The Pirates come into the Cintas Center and look all world, then they go home and look pedestrian against a crappy Butler team. Go figure.

Yeah, Xavier and St. John's were the exceptions. 4 of our 6 Big East opponents so far have shot over 40% from 3 against us - with Butler and PC both shooting 50%.

If the freshman keep shooting like this, Butler's gonna be dangerous when they get healthy.

And Myles Tate looks like a guy who's gonna be a 4 year PITA. Beat the shot clock with a 30ft 3 several times to ruin some great defensive possessions.

You think so? Man, he is so physically challenged.....and that's not going to change anytime soon. That is an anomaly in the BEast.

If a little squirt like that can carve out a decent career in THIS league, it will be quite the accomplishment. Would not be surprised if that stays his career high, barring a transfer.

Dude's a freshman, he's got plenty of time in the weight room ahead of him. Myles Powell and Markus Howard were both barely 6' too.

Not saying he's gonna follow their career path or anything, but I saw a kid with a smooth stroke, shooting with confidence and consistently hitting high difficulty shots. That last point alone makes him a headache to defend.

Ewing needs to figure out how to coach in the second half. Another big lead blown today.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
