Completely agree. The significant foul discrepancy between the two teams, however, was somewhat alarming. It undoubtedly had an effect on the game (XU: 20 fouls, CU: 11 fouls; XU FT: 5-7, CU FT: 14-20; Freemantle getting semi hosed on 1-2 fouls that took him out of the game). BUT, you should almost always expect there to be a discrepancy to the home team's advantage.
At the end of the day, X could have won, but didn't make enough plays, namely making shots... I don't think X will ever see Creighton shoot that badly again in Omaha. X had an opportunity to win but they lost, Creighton won. Congrats, Jays. Looking forward to the rematch in Cincinnati.
