Am I allowed to call BS on finishing seventh in the BE this season?

Considering it's probably like 50/50 that 3rd and 7th are separated by 1 game or less, it's too soon lol

This is the most talented team at Xavier on the offensive in quite a while. Definitely in the Steele era.

Xavier is 32-56 from three their past two games. Will it continue? Probably not, but it's nice not having to worry if one or maybe two guys will hit shots every night to give X a chance to win. There are multiple guys who can shoot and score on this team.

Theo John has really improved on the offensive end. Lewis and Garcia are going to be very good players for Marquette.

I guess you were feeling pretty good about him when he fouled for the 4 pt. tie it up shot.

How has Providence lost a game this year? They don't miss. Feels like they're shooting 95% from the field and 99% from 3.

Nope. If it was even an off week or something I wouldn't care. But it's BS that someone comes on who wasn't in the scouting report. Should've been eligible right away for sure but stick to the decision that he's ineligible or make the right one. Do you think it's coincidence he has a career game when he wasn't scouting?

Kunkel’s first game back was vs. Cincinnati. So he was in the scouting report. And it was Carter who fouled on the 4 point play.

SHU's offense has been a disaster since the U16 of the second half.

This is not about early conference standings.

This is about optics and what we have seen from Xavier in the first eight games of this year, including full strength games against Cincinnati, Oklahoma and now Marquette (albeit, missing Odom today). This version of Xavier basketball is 180° from last year‘s version and, needless to say, in a very good way.

In the meantime, how can you not love this conference: 2 OT games today with another one being won at the buzzer.
