Creighton.. 14/25 from the line... wow, very surprising. Marquette looks very good, their length gave the bluejays fits and carton outplayed zegarowski...

Speaking of targets. I have predicted that Zeg and Gillespie would struggle to match their previous numbers, as BEast defenses focus on them as main targets. The preseason accolades were deserving but not realistic for either guy.
I am very comfortable in predicting that neither of the two will be BE POY.
Wisdom is what you get 5 seconds after you needed it.
Just when I was content to return to being apathetic about this season I find myself screaming at the TV and hugging my fiancé. I don't know what to make of this team so maybe I'll risk getting my hopes up.
5 Golden Eagles in double figures. I would imagine that we haven’t seen that from a MU team in a long time. The young talent on this team is undeniable. Carton is a problem (for the rest of us).
Incredible win and very unexpected - especially considering the first half. This team is young and inexperienced (playing together), but, man, can they play defense. I didn't realize Wojo is now 5-2 in Omaha. Very difficult place to play and win.
Great job by Marquette. They outplayed the Jays. Creighton looked very vulnerable on defense. The way Marquette played against UCLA, I didn't expect this type of game from them, but they outhustled Creighton. Carton looked every bit the player people expected him to be when he transferred!
