That was some atrocious shooting. I believe the teams were a combined 8-42 from 3 (19.0%) and 42-128 (32.8%) overall. And the misses weren't "halfway down and popped out" misses they were "someone needs to do a wellness check on that backboard" misses.

It was a close game...it was not a good basketball game.

Some teams like Creighton and Villanova make shooting the 3-ball look easy...

Omigosh.

Samford actually scored 174 points against Greenville – a member of the NCAA Division III St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Greenville is now 0-4, despite averaging 100 points per game:

Ok, the league's start OOC is kinda lukewarm. A lot of the wins were too close for comfort, and not just for X. However, if you step back and analyze our emerging rosters, without question this is a very YOUNG conference.

The quality of underclassmen is off the chart! At the top you have-
VU- JRE, Moore, Dixon (Antoine?)
XU- Free, Tandy, Odom, Miles (Jones, Wilcher?)
MU- Carton, Dawson, Lewis.
UConn- Bouk, Gaffney, Sonago (Akok, Jackson?)
SJU- Champagnie, Posh, Addae-Wusu
CU- Jones, Kalk, Mitchell (Andro?)
PC- Gantt, Bynum
GU- Wahab

Then you have the 2 young Bulldogs in Harris & Tate who will be forced to grow up quickly. Weems for DU should make a substantial jump and the Hall has that big youngster but will win with their older guys.

That's a sh!tload of starter minutes combined with some elite talent coming off the bench. I probably missed some guys....most likely there will a few more emerge as circumstances dictate. Patience. The future is bright.

The three you mentioned are all backups. Our first six players are all upperclassmen (3seniors) and one redshirt sophomore transfer in Jones, who is our sixth man. Creighton is an extremely veteran team by all means.

I know, that's why I place your guys toward the bottom. The teams above you on the list are full of young starters.

Your starting 5 is set in stone barring something unforeseen. CU does check the box for elite young talent coming off the bench.

My how the mighty ACC has fallen. Absolutely flattened by the Big 10 yesterday. Looks like there's a clear top 3 leagues this year - B1G, BigXII and Big East - and then a sizeable gap to the ACC, SEC and PAC12.
