Damn, St. John's, making it interesting! That was a fun last minute, but I thought for sure that shot by St. Peter's at the end was going in. Heck, when it missed, I thought the putback was going to go in. Definitely a tense couple seconds.

Ok....I did not need a near heart attack during game 1.....a win is a win but we really need to step it up defensively.....

Two positives:

Posh Alexander - best player on the floor and only a freshman....

Vince Cole - unconscious shooter.....will definitely be the go to guy for last minute buckets....

Well, as I mentioned with the SJU game...a win’s a win. Took the Cats a bit to respond to BC’s energy (give them credit) but they found a way. I thought Moore and Gillespie had fair to poor games for their standards. JRE seems to have taken a step forward and looks like he’ll be a problem for opposing teams, and Caleb Daniels seems like a really solid addition.

Watched part of every game except Marquette. So did Carton not start at PG? Looks like Garcia is going to make a major impact.

btw, I saw the line D. Garcia and my first thought was Diego Garcia. But no man is an island.

I was almost deliriously happy to be watching Big East hoops again. My daughter was on the couch asking about the teams and new players, my son sat in the living room watching Nova with me, and everything seemed almost normal for a change.
