Yeah, it was well done. Gotta say Novachap deserves mad props for being dialed in and wasn't at all overshadowed by the 2 pros....of course Fanta is about as good as it gets.

My suggestion is find a good X fan, a partisan from the Boneyard and a rep from the Cooley World Order and we absolutely need a Johnnies rep. Those fan bases have some juice. Let’s stir the pot a bit and get some colorful insight.

So....

How about it? Any of you guys willing to have a roundtable pre season?

Add in Boartright, JRE, Carton and Moore as potentials and not a peep about Paul S. I personally think that was an oversight... Without Naji I think Paul might have a really big year. He's a really solid all-around player who will not have to defer to larger team personalities. If they finish in the top half of the league, he will be the biggest reason.

No surprise that I totally agree. Obviously Gillespie and Z are no brainers because stats don't lie but after that, I don't see a BETTER player than Paul Scruggs. Certainly not the 2 mentioned that are new to the Big East and I would argue that the Sophomores mentioned shouldn't slot higher than a Senior Scruggs on a pre-season all conference team. Now, Mamu and Duke clearly belong but Scruggy matches either of them statistically.

Here's the thing about Paul Scruggs that baffles me. For some reason he goes out of his way to AVOID contact. In fact, he only made it to the line 54 times lasts year....that's unacceptable. With how aggressive he can be when attacking the paint, I have to believe that Coach will insist that he starts initiating a lot more contact. IF that happens, along with his elite defense, he could easily be in the POY conversation. I know it's a very high bar, but we are expecting to see TSA or maybe even a Kamar Baldwin type season out of him.

Gimme a season to re-familiarize myself with the conference. I mean, I can talk UCONN all day, but gonna need some time to give a comprehensive BE preview.

Chap, I'm too busy right now to commit to this. And not having played the sport at any level, I don't believe I'm qualified to offer certain types of insights into Xavier's program in general or with respect to its personnel - certainly not at a level or in a way that would add to a forum such as the one contemplated here.

My suggestion is to visit XavierHoops.com and put out an invite there. The X board has a number of knowledgeable and frequent posters. You could shoot out a London Howl there to see if anyone would be willing to dive into this gig.

And I agree with Xuperman - - really enjoyed the show and your contributions to it, when I was finally able to watch it.

I appreciate the holler Chap but I’m just a Jay homer and would be like Cindy Brady staring at the green light. If you’ve never done that before I’m impressed keep em up. There’re a lot of great posters from all the teams on here who would be great. I did reach out to a good poster on The Underground Chicagojayfan but he’s busy... but Nyatawa is your best bet for the Jays he’d prolly join every call.

CBS didn't really do much research outside of the top three here. They talk about Xavier and highlight Adam Kunkel who is not even playing this season. Kind of a check the box effort in predicting the league.

I'm offering my services for a podcast from a Xavier fan.
