Same here Gumby.... thinking Git is having some technical difficulties..

Obviously....BUT the silence from the always vocal gtmo is deafening. We're all hyped up but end up getting the Looney Tunes Singing Frog treatment.

Now that's well done. I can still remember that dumbass frog sitting there like a lump when the guy needed for him to belt out a toon.

Watched a bit of the video...pretty good, however 1 hour in and no SJ coverage lol. It would be helpful to add times corresponding to topics so those who don't want to listen to an hour of bubble talk can skip to the stuff they want. Just constructive criticism. But cool to have so many people and for a long duration.

Mayhem, you jumped off too soon. There was extensive discussion about SJU, with 2 of the panelists suggesting that perhaps the Johnnies could be the surprise of the conference and snag a bid. Worth watching the complete part of the BE preview...you’ll get the content you seek.

Thanks for the feedback gents... Nice job putting it together Git.

For those of you who have always enjoyed GTMO's preseason picks, I encourage you to go to the 54 minute mark on the video, I think I spoke for all of us!

Thanks for the preview, guys. It was great to hear an analysis not tinged by Xavier homerdom, which I am subject to here in Cincy. That said, say I with my own Xavier goggles on, I think that Xavier will surprise because losing Marshall and Goodin is addition by subtraction. For the last two seasons under Steele, his first two seasons, the Xavier team was dysfunctional because of those two guys. They refused to play with their teammates other than Jones, and Steele (as a new coach) risked creating even more dysfunction if he benched them. Losing Jones is a loss. We Xavier fans though are thrilled to see the other two gone. This year, I believe that you will see a Xavier team on the floor at last, and it will be Steele's team. We will have better shooters, and deeper talent. The big problem is the number of newcomers, obviously, and that really hurts when you don't have a normal set of nonconference games to prepare for this league. But look for Freemantle, Scruggs, and a healthy Tandy to be much improved. I expect much better play from Carter as well. With Miles, Odom, two other very talented freshmen in Wilcher and Jones, plus a healthy Ramsey and 2-3 transfers that typically show up on top 25 transfer lists, they could be a real load. Time will tell.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

absolutely... so tough to tell. My GUESS is you are a year away / bubble team. Like I said, who the heck knows with all the moving parts this year. Fanta was the most bullish of the group on X for sure.

That's fair. The lack of experience in this season of covid may be a problem that this team won't be able to overcome this season.
