I guess I need to find more Marquette fans to hang out with...

UConn is a hard one to categorize. They probably did qualify as basically a blue blood, but then fell off the face of the planet for a few years. They'll be 'back' as soon as they have one good year I bet in the "Holier than thou' club, at least in their own minds.

Pretty funny lol

Though I will point out that Seton Hall (who apparently usually finishes 4th-8th) hasn't finished lower than 3rd since 2014-15. Even if you include tiebreakers for BET seeding, it only puts them below 3rd once in the last 5 years.

Yes, it is not that UCONN has not quite made it yet, but that UCONN has made it before. So, probably should be in their own category given that.

Nonetheless, a good little piece of humor as we hopefully get closer to a season.

Ha ha they nailed me as a Creighton fan but I disagree with X because X jumped onto the national scene 20 years ago (last time Creighton was on the national scene was 1974) and definitely disagree with UCONN because they are a rebounding Blue Blood. But I appreciate an X fan grouping us with those two. Funny that Butler was kinda snubbed, I think it shows X fans have a bitterness towards the Bulldogs that I think most Bluejay fans, including me, envy. I would love to have an X-CU hated rivalry that ends up on opposite sides of the NCAA tournament In the Final Four. :D This conference is too much of a love fest. After 32 years in that conference with a bunch of directional hick schools the Big East is like I’m waking up in heaven every day.

That is one of the great things about the Big East. Y'all are completely stoked to be here, and no one is eyeing up other conferences. Even in the football 5, you know they're looking sideways at each other, wondering what is going to happen next. We're in this as a group; succeed, or die trying.

+1

We enjoy being a part of this conference. Others envy it. Others are desperate to find a way into it.

That can only mean that we have a good thing, and that it is headed in the direction of becoming better.
