JRE is from the KCMO area, played HS @ Bishop Miege. It's the Midwest version of DC's DeMatha or NYC's Archbishop Stepanek/Christ the King HS's. The KCMO area is one of my fav's
in HS recruiting.
Cr8n has snagged some good players from that area: Cavel Witter (Ruskin HS)
, now an asst coach at Lincoln U in Mizzou.
Isaac Miles (Bishop Miege HS)
,
Jays were in on JRE early and hard and I had high hopes of landing him and Zach Harvey. Would have been our best haul from that area...didn't get either one.
No one can replace the Doughboys though... the Eric's...

I couldn't find the 2021 recruiting thread, but Villanova just landed Class of 2021 SG Jordan Longino. He is a 6'5" Top 50, 4 Star Player out of Germantown Academy in PA. Villanova's 2021 Class is LOADED, and I am hearing Jay isn't done yet. Remember, the Cats didn't bring in any 2020 players.

With that, I am thinking where there is smoke there is fire. Also, yes, Jordan is officially announcing Thursday, but usually players will verbal to the school before giving the official announcement. I am sure this might not always be the case, but it is my understanding that the player usually gives all the coaches that were recruiting him the news before making the announcement.
