Carton is really good, but I hope that Wojo doesn't give him the proverbial green light ala Rousey and Marcus Howard. That brand of basketball is fun to watch, but it doesn't win in the NCAA tournament.

Also, it is hard to get other talented kids to play hard and consistently when you got a dude chucking up 20+ shots per game. They tend to transfer or check out when one dude is getting all the touches.

Marquette got a good one in DJ Carton. I believe he signed yesterday.

I think he's going to get a waiver given that he left Ohio St because of mental health issues. So he transfers to be closer to his hometown of Bettendorf, IA, which is much closer to Milwaukee than Columbus is

Gardner-Webb transfer, Jose Perez, committed to Marquette last night. He's a 6-5 guard that averaged 15.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists a game last year as a sophomore. As a freshman, Perez averaged 15.1 points game shot nearly 45-percent from the field.

That is his pursuit, yes. Wish him well. Cain should get most of his minutes (along with freshmen). The advanced stats showed him to be one if our weaker defenders. It's a loss, experience wise, but I think the production can be replaced.

Still not a tournament team, IMO - Carton or not.

Hard to get a handle on what you guys have especially if McEwen doesn't step up big time.

Maybe Dawson Garcia morphs into Luka Garza quickly....yikes! :o

Well done Marq. I wouldn't want someone like that on my campus, representing my school, either.

Good for Marquette. The racist white-supremacy bullsh-t needs to end.
