2020 Recruiting Class- THE BEST EVER!!!

UCONN has the #2 rated class in the BE, so we currently have 4 in the Top 25 Marquette (17), UCONN (18), X (21) and Creighton (24) per 24/7 composite. Very good job with recruiting. Our usual powerhouse in Nova didn't really need anything so they don't have a recruit so far this year. They will probably do very well next year!

6 teams in the top 42 (NCAA Tournament range). Pretty good especially since Villanova is not one of them. UConn's leaving a conference with only 1 team in the top 42: Houston #35.

It is hilarious, well actually pathetic is more like it, that ESPN's John Lunardi keeps UConn in the American when he makes his bracketology projections for next year's tournament. If he put UConn in the BE, as of course they are next season, the American Conference has only one team in his projection. That would be tough for his ESPN employers to swallow given that the fact that they have a television contract with that pathetic league.

Amazing for Creighton to have a top 25 class when they really had only one or two scholarships open ( then Mintz transfers and Windham transfers to where he could play). Next year is our big year with Ballock, Jefferson, Mahoney graduating ( Tyshon was in the group but obviously left this year). For Mac and staff to put together this group with our #1 and #3 top rated recruits ( in the recent rankings era) is pretty special. This group doesn't even include AOC ( O'Connell) the transfer from Duke who will sit out this year). Also, we have transfer A Jones who sat out last year from Memphis ( former top 100). Hate to lose Tyshon but don't expect we will take much of a drop.
