He’s gone. I’ve already passed all the stages of grief and am wallowing in “acceptance.” Jay will throw him out the door if he’s expected to be a top 20 pick. 6’8” guys who can hit the 3 in the mid 40% range and play multiple positions defensively are in high demand.

I honestly felt that JRE might be more irreplaceable than Bey. We've got Daniels coming in; we've got Moore a year older and ready to be a focal point. Antoine hopefully will be ready to play. We'll be fine on the perimeter with or without SB. But JRE was just so consistent with the rebounding and the defense. We really didn't have anyone else who can do what he does.

A year in the system and watch when his 3FG% jumps into the mid 30% range. We'll be able to play 5 out again. Woo-hoo! Great news.

Hey Xup.. Yeah, Jay is hitting them early. Reality is, Nova needs a huge Class of 21, both quantity and quality. After next year, Gillespie, Samuels and Crosby-Roundtree graduate. Robinson-Earl will leave early. Then there are any number of unknowns after that. Will Moore be good enough to test the waters? Antoine (doubtful)? 3 starters and big back up minutes gone. So, we will need a lot of folks. The only new faces in 2020 are Caleb Daniels and Eric Dixon after sitting out with a Red Shirts.

The new guy Nanna Njokku (Hall of Fame Name) looks like a 3 - 4 year player. Big, tough, rebounder. Honestly, reminded me a bit of Tyrique.... Might have a little better range end of day, but he should be an animal on the boards. Much needed when the double double machine JRE leaves.
