Obviously a Creighton homer here, but who the hell didn't put Ty-Shon on the first team? Obviously someone with an agenda that didn't involve analyzing on the court performance. He was the leading scorer and top defensive player on a team that tied for first. He held Marcus H to 10-30 shooting and held Myles P to something like 9-29 shooting in games against Creighton this year. Ridiculous that Ty-Shon wasn't a unanimous pick

I'm curious about zegarowski's unanimous selection to second team. does that mean he got ten votes for second team?

In conference stats:

Marshall:
PPG: 17.4
RBS: 6.4
AST: 4.2
STL: 1.3
BLK: .5
TO: 3.6
FG%: .449
3FG%: .318
FT%: .707
ORTG: 102.9
DRTG: 101.8
USG%: 26.7

Zegarowski:
PPG: 14.4
RBS: 3.8
AST: 5.2
STL: 1.2
BLK: .1
TO: 2.7
FG%: .460
3FG%: .456
FT%: .767
ORTG: 110.4
DRTG: 105.7
USG% 22.5

Judging by Zegarowski's unanimous selection, I'd say it was probably very close among the coaches

I don't think there's any huge omissions from this list. So many good guards and wings in this league.

I thought it was pretty fair as well. the most contentious disagreement i've seen is zegarowski and marshall and it's definitely close between them. zegarowski will get another shot at first team and naji's gonna leave this year, so it all works out

I feel like there’s a legitimate case for Ty-Shon to be POY. Who didn’t think he was one of the best five players in the league?
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Perhaps by a coach that thought MZ was better?

NBCSports All American teams had 4 BE players on the three teams. Myles P on the first team. Marcus H and Marcus Z on the second team and Saddiq B on the third team. Quite an honor for those four and their teams and great that the BE had 4 of the 15 players named!
