Starting the night off with a big one and then following it up with a lot of interesting matchups!

Who stays on the top, for a few more days anyway, Can CU take it's game on the road and move into the + column, X or Marq will be in a big hole after tonight, and can Providence get back to winning or does 40 mins of hell trip them up and send them to an almost no way to get back into NCAA talk? :)

Still early in the schedule, but tonight is going to be a night that some teams will look back on as a turning point or a conformation. 8-)
Lets go Dawgs!

I'm a little surprised at how big the spread is for SHU-Butler. Should be a good game.

SHU-Butler is going to be a great matchup to see. I'm most interested to see how LJ attacks Gill and Obiagu. Butler has the personnel that could cause some issues. Golden could be used to pull Gill out as he can hit the 3. Smits is big enough to at least battle them physically. BU is a really solid team defensively--they have the ability to slow down Powell. SHU is a very good defensive team as well. I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see like a 58-54 game.

Butler's biggest test of the season. They've been able to win even when Baldwin shoots 1 for 9, and I think SHU can make it tough for him too. Take the under.

Close to a must win for St John's/Providence.... loser going to be in a lot of trouble.

and the Xavier/Marquette game is really interesting. Marquette in KP has 7 projected losses remaining. A loss tonight and lose all 7 of those and they're at 17-13.

This is a must win for the Johnnies and Providence, but even the winner will be very unlikely to make the Tournament. St. John's will probably be favored in just 3-4 games rest of the way (all by small margins) and Providence won't win enough to salvage their awful OOC. I'd put Providence, DePaul and St. John's as the least likely to make the Tournament. Everyone else has a solid to excellent chance.

Rest of the games will be very important when looking at seeding/the bubble. Exciting night of hoops!

The Xavier/Marquette game is interesting. entering- Xavier is 12-5, Marquette is 11-5. Both have 14 games to go(including tonight). The loser would need to go probably 7-6 to have a good shot at making the tourney. Marquette favored in 6 games rest of the way. Xavier after tonight 5. So the loser tonight is going to have a very tough road after tonight, especially if it's Xavier.

Huge week for Georgetown. tonight home vs Creighton, Saturday home vs Marquette. 8 of final 12 games are KP level a games.
