Special. It counts in your total. Yet, Labor Day weekend Friday and Black Friday shouldn't be the part of the 10 Friday games.

Here is the Q & A with (MWC) Craig Thompson, (CBS) Dan Weinberg & (FOX) Mark Silverman Press Conference

but if you don't count those 2 Friday's- there's in a normal football season only 11 other Friday's.

Good point. We'll shall see. Good problem to have as the MWC will be wise to have Friday games on CBSSN & FS1.
Also, the Florida State at Boise State football IMO, will be a lock for the Big Noon Kickoff on FOX.

Sure, why not. 10AM is no big deal. Boise State fans and season tickets sales have went down over the years with all there local 8:30PM kickoff. There fans would love it!

Mark Silverman:
"And I'd like to mention we're also very actively looking
at the Florida State-Boise State game in early
September as a potential Big Noon window game that
we would bring our FOX Sports talent out there and
celebrate our kicking off the Conference relationship
with a Big Noon Kickoff game, and we're doing our work
now with the Conference and with Boise State to try to
make that happen".

That would be really interesting....

had to check the time zone. Mountain, so would be a 10am kickoff.

Would be a great test run IMO for the Pac 12, which is the ultimate goal IMO.

Also, you could have two games on one Friday night. CBSSN and FS1.

I wasn't aware that Fox had a pregame show. Is it like Gameday on ESPN? Do people bring signs?

Guessing you are not a college football or even a football fan if you didn't know FOX had a pre-game show. Anyways, don't take what I say in a mean way. ;)
Most weeks they are in studio in Los Angeles. It's different from ESPN Gameday, as they hype the FOX game at Noon. Urban Meyer was excellent on the show.

Here is one of many promos FOX ran.
