AP Coach of the Decade

Jerold Taylor Wright Jr.

I know his impeccable dress, and constant working over of the refs hasn't always endeared him to many opposing fan bases. But when we needed a cheerleader and defender of our new conference, he was often the most vocal one. And in many ways he has given the entire league hope and a blueprint that we can compete and we can win at the biggest of stages. So glad we snatched him up when Rutgers came calling. Can you imagine the what-if's, had Lappas stayed and Jay went to Rutgers.

Also any press for the BE on a whole is a good thing. Congrats Coach Wright.

Kudos to him, and Nova for retaining him.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

I'm on record on this site stating GQJ as the best College BB Coach in the country....not even close.

As a Nova fan, I hate to say it, but I'm getting very worried by the Sixers uneven play. The Sixers job is the only job out there that I could see jay considering, and I think they may throw a ton of money at him. Can he resist the temptation to be able to coach one of the NBA's most talented teams, and do it without relocating? I'm a Sixer fan, so I have very mixed emotions about this.

Way too early for that, and he sounds less inclined to make the jump each year. He's always saying how nice it is to be somewhat left alone in Philly. I do hope Ash or Dunleavy proves to be great coaches just in case.
