I sure nailed this one, didn't I?

We deserve more but I am guessing we end up with a bunch of teams in others receiving votes cagegory. But the next poll will consider the NET for the first time, so there may be some unexpected movements in our favor.

At least Nova and Butler will leapfrog a few teams.

I'd love to see Adoraz make a prediction.

So just looking right now.... Only team in the 11-25 range that lost this week that should fall out is #21 Tennessee. Not really sure Arizona at #16 will fall out. Dayton at #13 won't.

So not exactly a lot of room at the inn.

Arizona's resume was a big nothing burger. Yet they get ranked #16 even with the same record as SJU 10-2 going in. Now SJU is 11-2 with wins over #25 WVU and #16 Arizona which was basically a home game for them even though technically neutral and we missed our best player Heron. And we will probably get 4 votes or something stupid. Just goes to show brand names are promoted in the top 25. It's all politics.

Pretty tough to call this week. Hardly any teams in the latter half of the rankings lost. Also on my phone as I don't have my laptop. We may only have 2 teams ranked tomorrow, which is a bit ridiculous. I'll guess 3.

Last week:
#17 Butler
#18 Villanova

#27 Xavier
#32 Marquette
#40 DePaul
#41 Seton Hall
#43 Georgetown

My prediction:
#11 Villanova
#13 Butler
#25 Xavier

I think 9/10 teams will RV and a LOT will be just outside the rankings. Unfortunately the flashiest wins were mostly by teams with only a few votes (Seton Hall) or without any votes (St. John's). It's really tough to get the AP's attention for unranked wins.

Top 25 is a ladder system. And unfortunately, that loss to Vermont is likely still an eyesore in the minds of the pollsters.

yeah, just like the UNCG loss for Georgetown is the same way.

Also there have to be top 25 teams lose to make room. Only 3 teams lost in the 11-25 range, and only 1 of them is likely to fall out.
