4 of the Big East Conference teams were underdogs.
That first Saturday was great day. Today was better.

As great a day as this was for the Big East, it was pretty bad for the AAC. UCF, Tulane, Tulsa, and Cincinnati all lost nailbiters in games they either needed as resume builders or couldn't afford to lose. At this point I see two locks with two more who could work their way in with dominant conference play. 4 bids max, and Memphis is the only one playing for a decent seed.

The AAC has Memphis and Wichita looking really good. Temple, Houston, and UConn are all in pretty decent shape right now- they go 12-6 in conference play(hardly dominant) and they make the tourney easily. Also, kind of tough to say Wichita isn't playing for a decent seed when they have the #16 NET and should improve when they beat Oklahoma today. They go 14-4 in the AAC and they're 25-5 and almost guaranteed to be a top 4-5 seed. Their next to last team USF lost by 6 to #23 Florida St on a neutral court. They'll improve from 154 considerably tomorrow.

I'm not seeing Wichita go 14-4, UConn, Temple, and Houston all going 12-6, and Memphis still winning enough to get a high seed. This is one of your more ridiculous arguments.
