Location's irrelevant. Sandro's injury was the difference.

Holy shit, the home cooking these last 3 minutes. Wow.
Iowa State acting like they won the Super Bowl.

the home cooking has been going on all game, but gotta deal with that on the road.

there really isn't a good reason to play this difficult of a schedule.

No reason whatsoever. Lose to Maryland and it's approaching disaster territory.

These comments on the schedule are ridiculous. There's nothing to gain from beating up on a bunch of cupcakes.

Yeah, they're playing their way out of the AP Top 25 and still have 2 really tough OOC games to go. Last year I thought it was fine because they had really low expectations and it clearly worked out thanks to hitting a few buzzer beaters. This year they're not hitting the buzzer beaters. They're not sneaking up on anyone with that big target on their backs.

If they finish 2-1 and 8-4 OOC then they should be fine. Pretty sure Nova had 4 OOC losses last year. If they go 1-2 and 7-5 overall, then yikes. Also, why is Hall playing this kind of a tough schedule with only 12 rather than 13 OOC games? Really should've added in a cupcake there. I get that St. John's has a much, much easier schedule, but still, we already have 8 wins with 3 OOC games to play. Shouldn't happen where a pre-season ranked Hall team may struggle to hit that when the rest of the conference (besides Providence) will get that and then some.

That said, still a great weekend overall.

Sandro out 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist.

That's a far bigger loss than a q1 road game.
