You know something special is brewin’ when you come out on top like DePaul did last night. Those offensive numbers usually produce a loser vs good competition....39.7% from the floor, 23.8% from 3, 55.6% from the line AND got out rebounded. Turnovers the difference. Demons force 22 of them, 12 of which were steals. And of course you need a JCL, who had 8 in 40, drops 10 in 5...presto-change-o.
Wisdom is what you get 5 seconds after you needed it.

Huge win for the Blue Demons. Congratulations to RPI # 27 DePaul.

DePaul tops Texas Tech 65-60 in OT behind Coleman-Lands – Associated Press - December 4, 2019
CHICAGO -- After years of futility, DePaul basketball is finally heading in the right direction.

Jalen Coleman-Lands scored eight of his 18 points in overtime to lead DePaul to a 65-60 win over Texas Tech on Wednesday night.

DePaul (9-0) is off to its best start since the 1986-87 season when the Blue Demons started 16-0. They already have road wins against Iowa and Minnesota. They also overcame an 18-point deficit against Central Michigan. Now they're building their NCAA Tournament resume with a win against the 2018-2019 national runner-up. The last time DePaul made the tournament was in the 2003-04 season.

In Joe Lunardi’s December 2nd Bracketology, he has DePaul as a # 11 seed headed for a First Four play-in game at UD Arena with Texas Tech projected as a # 9 seed. I expect that to change in the near future.

Wow. I certainly wasn't expecting 5-0!

Nova with a nice win over a tough Penn team. Was nervous about the one given what happened last year.
X with a solid double digit win.
Marquette's Howard was out, but they still won big.
Georgetown with an extremely surprising win. Maybe the BE's biggest upset this year (not best win, but biggest upset).
DePaul, like Butler, beats yet another F5 team in a game they were slight underdogs in. Not only that, but they were extremely clutch.

Excellent work all around!

By Ken-Pom, Georgetown's win over Oklahoma St the 2nd best in the league right now, behind only Marquette over Purdue. Only other top 40 wins right now are Creighton/DePaul over Texas Tech.

Thought the season was done at the beginning of the week but last night showed what a team actually looks like. Hopefully they don't come out flat on Saturday.

yeah, Saturday should be really interesting. After the high last night, but before playing rival Syracuse next week.

And playing a pretty good team(who beat them last year) on the road.

St. John's has a chance to pull off a top 40 win on Saturday versus West Virginia.

To clarify, the Iowa win is also top 40 at this point. Also the BE has 9 total wins vs KP top 50.
