I know you can't help yourself but to pump up Temple, but reality is it's not an ideal situation for Nova. Hopefully it's a quad 1 game. Not too happy with having 2 ooc games within the Big East season.

I think it's almost a lock to be with how Temple is looking here(much better than I think anyone expected).

Do agree with you on how weird it is to have 2 OOC games in Jan/Feb. Wonder with the 331st most experienced team(or 23rd least experienced) if he wanted the later OOC games for those 2.

Every year it seems they have one or two poor stretches, only for Cooley to give a come to Jesus speech and them turning the corner into what they are pretty much every year, a bubble team. Actually the bubble should be renamed the Providence line in honor of their work the last 6 or so years. Maybe it's that archaic and antiquated offense that Cooley runs or whatever. The thing is, unless Cooley really is mailing in because of his new contract, he will get them near the bubble again somehow, if the last 6 years results are to be believed.

eh, they tanked last year. hopefully it's a trend

eh, 2 more wins last year and they're probably in, but they aren't trending in the right direction that's for sure. For now I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, at least for a few more games.

Howard is even missing free throws. What's happening?
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Too early to call this almost a lock imo, but yeah they don't really miss Dunphy. Jay Wright has played Temple in February before, both times @Temple fwiw. I think you'll have to ask Temple if February date maximizes their season ticket sales and Liacouras center availability. Nova's their super bowl.

yeah, you're probably right. But who expected them to start 5-1 and give Maryland a really good game? don't think many did.

Maryland is going to see a lot more zone going forward.

One good outcome today, Bailey has found his confidence.

Maryland's obviously a very good team, but they're also lucky to have caught Marcus Howard on a bad day.

Hopefully they don't yet so lucky with Powell in a few weeks.

That's true. This team still has to learn that there are two halves to every game.
