No I feel like this year has been especially chaotic.

This has been a fun year with the results and #1s going down each week. Opens door up for s potential dark horse team to win its first championship or first within the last 30+ years

No I feel like this year has been especially chaotic.

It does feel like it. However I would say we've already gotten a lot of basketball played- due to the fact that Thanksgiving is a week later. We get thru next week and OOC play is pretty close to being over just about.

Offense has taken a beating with the 3 point line change. I initially thought they moved it back too far, too soon and it’s lead to some really bad shooting. Gives an advantage to mid majors who are less athletic, but more skilled and we’ve seen tons of upsets because of it

In a way I feel bad for boeheim because his school basically fucked the b-ball program over against his wishes, but obviously I don’t mind seeing them suck. It’s a catch-22

what is interesting is looking at the stats-
2019- there were 5 teams that shot 40% or better from 3 point range. 14 teams lower than 30% Lowest 27.9%
2020- there are 25 teams currently at or above 40% from 3. 89 teams lower than 30%. 13 teams lower than 25% 51 teams lower than 27.9%

So have more teams actually shooting really well, but more teams struggling with it as well. 3 point shooting much more of a determinant than before.

Although in the SF Austin/Duke upset- SFA made all of 2 3's the entire game.

Just saw that guy who beat Duke from SF Austin- his gofundme is now up to over 140k.

What an incredible story. I wonder how much of that 140k is from UNC fans. Such an incredible trend we've seen. Think a few years ago didn't the Bengals beat Ravens, which sent the Bills to the playoffs. A lot of Bills fans made donations to the foundation of Andy Dalton- raised 415K.
