Dave Leitao proving if he has some players he can certainly coach. New arena, Chicago market and recruiting territory, if Dave can keep recruiting there is no reason why DePaul can’t become a consistent Top 5 Big East team. Regardless, congrats to DePaul for a heck of a season so far. The fans deserve it. Now you just gotta get some more fannies in the seats.

they are awful. Cooley should bench the "starters" and play the players he hopes to develop for next year and the year after. Even if they some how manage to beat Charleston, this season is over. they wont beat anyone in the BE if they play like they have so far this season (even in their wins)

I have not been able to catch as many Friars games as I would have liked, yet in all sincerity, what do Friar fans believe is the problem? They start 4 seniors and a Jr, although I did notice that Watson, who I really like, has only played 3 games. Your losses have been to teams ranked by KP ( I realize it's still early ) 104, 109, 268, and Charleston is 150. I feel for the Friar fans, as this is absolutely bizarre. Every loss was gauged as no less than 80% in favor of the Friars.

Again, I'm more than curious as to what Friar fans believe to be the issues that have led to what has been an absolutely peculiar and anomalous season so far.

PC never really showed any identity on offense under Cooley. It's been a hero ball by ball dominant PGs. and without one last year, they failed to make the tourney. Thought Pipkens was perfect in that sense but guess he's just not that good.

what sucks for rest of the league is that they are still talented enough to beat anybody on any given night.

Their season is basically one week. They have absolutely no chance of getting enough Big East wins to counteract those losses, as far as an at large goes, so their season isn’t that much different than all the teams in one-bid leagues. They have to win the Tournament

Wow Providence is a shit show. It really starts with Cooley. He needs to scrap The Flex, it's trash, especially for his personnel. It might work for slow white guys at Wisconsin, but it doesn't for Providence. He has long, big, physically gifted athletes he needs to play inside out on offense, and pick-up fullcourt all game to create offense off defense.

Also, give the keys to David Duke Jr. Enough of the Pimpkins crap, he is a scrub. Give the keys to Duke, Diallo on the freaking block with Watson and play bully ball. Reeves needs more run, he is their best upside guy outside of Gantt.

I think the problem seems to be they don't have the mental strength to overcome setbacks . I don't mean intelligence I mean toughness. Mix in a little lack of self respect and pride. Each of these loses in themselves isn't disastrous but losing 4 out of 5 and being up by only 5 at the half to Merrimack certainly is.
I don't know what the solution is or how Cooley tries to get his players motivated whatever it is doesn't seem to be working
