A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...

...or in the case of this week's Coaches Poll, a single vote.

So why isn't Marq receiving votes? They beat Purdue handily. Yes, lost to Wisc. and looked underwhelming vs RMU but compare them to the Boilermakers who are just outside the Top 25.

Congrats! Would be fantastic if our Chicago school could return to Glory! Regardless, you have been having a really good season. Enjoy it!

Marquette deserves no votes. Neither does Purdue.

We have yet to show up for two consecutive halfs. I don't think we'll be receiving any more votes until that changes.

Congrats to DePaul.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

All is proceeding according to plan... B Demons get 1 vote. As the W's mount so will the groundswell of support by the coaches.

Gtwn gets a vote in the AP Poll also.

Way to go Dave Leitao, you give your team a vote then log on as Demon22 and brag about it! The nerve.

So I totally missed it when it happened, but apparently in the middle of November DePaul got a commitment from Ahamad Bynum, a top-100 2021 guard out of Simeon in Chicago. I believe he shares an AAU program with current freshman Markese Jacobs. Good to see Leitao building a little momentum recruiting Chicago.
