Go Demons. Too bad Gordon left, or DePaul would be hell on wheels. Coleman-Lands finally breaks out. Guess he had his doubts after being injured for so long...good for him. I picked the Demons 7th this season, but they will get stronger as the season progresses. They have enough talent to crack the top five. Gonna be a rough conference slate.

Go Blue Demons!

Matchups wise, it's interesting that they paired up 2 very athletic BE teams (DePaul & Providence) with 2 of the most unathletic power 6 teams you'll see this season.

I thought DePaul had the horses to beat Iowa, but just didn't think they had jelled enough this early in the season to win on the road. Awesome start to the series, can't wait for Tuesday games!

Ok, who were those imposters in DePaul's colors last night?? Wait, they have length, talent, and skill all over the court; plus go 8 deep with no drop off? Most shockingly a Dave Leitao coached team not out there doing stupid shit all game long??? If last night is a real indication of who DePaul really is this year, the BE season is going to be brutal this year.

Edit: BTW I was also shocked how completely unathletic and untalented Iowa was last night. They were horrid.

Hard to say St John’s is bad; when you have Heron and Figueroa you can win at any time.

Let’s just keep this OOC run up and max our seeds and berths.

Why is that a mirage? St. John's has looked very solid so far.

He's saying Georgetown looking bad is a mirage. Which I think is fair. Hoyas also struggled early out of conference but then went on to have some big wins, and finish tied for 3rd in the conference. Have a very bad habit of playing down to teams and are incorporating a lot of new pieces. I don't think we're nearly as bad as the first two games have made us look.

Had a feeling DePaul would have a breakout moment. I think last night was it! You could tell these dudes are sick and tired of being the punching bag of the league

Ballock and Alexander need to make lots of shots to keep us in it. Surprised at how well CU is rebounding with a short lineup although Bishop has been over matched.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
