Hi everyone, long time lurker and first-time poster. A friend and I recorded our first podcast this week and thought you would enjoy checking it out. Both of us are amateurs in digital media, so you’ve been warned if you are expecting two pros or legit media members on the podcast. We are simply big east fans, X fans specifically, who felt it would be fun to create some big east basketball/college basketball content. I don’t mean for this to be a shameless plug; we simply feel it would be a shame if we didn’t have any Big East fans plug into this new outlet of ours (

Some corrections/clarifications from the podcast (easier to make a few slips of the tongue than I once thought. I now have more respect for those who talk sports as a job):
Correction – The 3-point line has been moved from 20 feet, 9 inches to 22 feet, 1¾ inches, which is over a 10-inch difference (as stated incorrectly in the pod). The 3-point line had been at a distance of 20 feet, 9 inches since prior to the 2008-09 season, when the NCAA moved it back from 19 feet, 9 inches, which is the same length as high school ball
Correction - Sam Hauser transferred to Virginia and Joey Hauser transferred to Michigan State
Correction - I meant to say Jalen Brunson when saying Jalen Bridges instead (Bridges was a priority Xavier 2020 recruit who ended up committing to West Virginia)
Clarification - DePaul is not a mid-major, sometimes it’s humorous just to poke fun. We feel sorry to have such an easy punching bag in the conference to make examples out of, it’s convenient. I believe DePaul is headed in the right direction, and I am rooting for an NIT/NCAA berth for them in the near future, hopefully as soon as this year if possible. Blue Demons over Blue Devils forever and always.
Clarification - Dayton hasn’t won at Xavier since Jimmy Carter was president, and as a way to mock the Flyers, Xavier fans would have big face cutouts of all the former presidents and current president at games to showcase how long it has been since they notched a win on X’s home court. If a new person is elected president in a year, two new faces will be added to that display if Dayton was to ever return to play a game at Cintas (Dayton last played at Xavier in 2013).
