We might never see them listed here again, so let's allow UCONN fans to enjoy the big win over Wagner.

USATODAY: Winners and losers from Thursday night action in Week 1 of college football season
Connecticut

Every win counts if you're the Huskies, who are considered by many to be the worst team in the Bowl Subdivision. They still may be. But a 24-21 win against Wagner is two things: one, a win, and two, a solid defensive showing after last year's unit set new records for futility in several major categories. Ignore for a moment that Wagner is part of the Football Championship Subdivision.

UCONN up from 130 (out of 130) to 128 this week in USA Today's ranking.

Momentum!

Are things on track to make the move next summer? Any snags in the negotiations with the AAAAAC?

The AAC released their conference schedule. UCONN has ZERO Saturday home games. We can't get out of that shit show soon enough!

Yikes. I know you have one foot out the door but how does that happen?
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

It’s clearly spite. Why should they do UConn any scheduling favors?
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Some quotes from Big East coaches on UCONN:

Kevin Willard on #UConn's return to BE (half-kiddingly, I think): "I wouldn't have given them the vote, would've told them to stay away, just because I know the job Danny's gonna do ... I can't tell recruits, 'You know what it's like to play at Tulane and East Carolina?'"

Ed Cooley: "I think we gave Connecticut new life. We gave their fan base new life. They finally came to the conclusion that they are a basketball-centric school. They poured all their money into football, and in my opinion, it was going into a hole.” #pcbb #uconn #BIGEASTHoops

I kinda agree with both.
