Sad to say, don't expect much from Creighton, recruiting has seemed to stall and although its not gonna effect us in the next 2 years due to our core being sophomores and juniors, it will probably hit us down the road. Doesnt help when our "lead" recruiter is still on staff but cant recruit cause he is on administrative leave.....essentially we have been recruiting with just 2 assistants for the last year.....

Lol so is everyone not named Georgetown. Think your standards are a little out of whack. Patton is arguably the best big man in the first 6 years of the conference

X has done excellent with power forwards, second to none in the league going back to David West. The Korver-West series was the beginning of the X rivalry IMHO and since then youve been the more physical team and we’ve been better shooters... some of the time. Your Elite 8 run you had both better than everyone but Nova.

Bottom Line:
If Creighton wants to compete with Nova and X we need powerful bigs as well as marksmen.

Also I appreciate the compliment but Xavier’s legacy with power forwards goes back earlier than David west. Before west, Tyrone hill and Brian grant, Aaron Williams, Derek strong, Larry Sykes and Torraye braggs all made the nba under Pete gillen and skip prosser. We were powers forward u for a while sending practically a forward to the league every year. It’s arguably slowed down recently as Derrick brown was probably the last one we sent to the league. We’ve had some good ones in the big east though and hopefully tyrique will break out this year

Yep, you have that for sure. Jones is why you have a shot at a great season. I am high on our man Christian Bishop though, smooth and fast and lots of skill, adding a little weight this year, KC kid we poached from KUs backyard. As Git says? We’re giving Mac a year or so to see if he can break through the wall

I like Bishop too in the limited spurts I saw from him. Epperson also worries me. I think he can be really good.

I'm hoping tyrique can average a double double this year. If he can be consistent and stay healthy he can be a monster.
