That start in '14 against Nova was so much fun. Heck of a way to introduce yourself to the Wildcats the first year in the league.

Given HOW RARE these specific moments have been, I kinda like this one:

Seriously, I'm not sure a lot of UConn fans truly understand what kind of away game environments they're about to step into when it comes to Omaha, Indy and CIncinnati.

I'm making that statement while being fully aware of how fair weather and douchey UC fans can be at 5/3.

That clip is as much a tribute to Nova's program as anything. Just a very hard team to beat since the reformation.

Of course, it also demonstrates Fox's production value and what it means to have a game called by Raf and Gus.

Funny side note was that this was the same year as the Kemba run and that that was next game Pitt played at MSG. So both games Pitt played at MSG that year were last second heart breaking loses. Oh and I was at both of those games that year.

The young ones won't but the middle aged ones remember playing at ND Cuse, Pitt and WVU before they disappeared. Nothing is like a sellout at Cuse with 30k + fans screaming.

The shot...the crowd...the call from Gus. This clip never gets old.

No doubt. No one in their right mind is going to take the position that the NBE trumps the old BE in this regard.

My point, based on some early perceptions by some UConn fans that I read about making this move to the BE, is that they will be pleasantly surprised by the strength of the "new" programs when it comes to facilities and fan support. Otherwise, I'll take the Cintas Center over the Joyce Center and WVU's place any day. Pitt's Petersen Events Center is a little bigger, but it's at least a wash as far as that place is concerned -- in my unbiased opinion, obviously.
