UConn is about to take a huge pay cut to play in the NBE. All of the divorce funds have run out and the American was making more money in total before they got the new ESPN deal...
With that in mind, what if UConn keeps losing (already have a 3 straight losing years streak in the AAC)
Keep in mind that Calhoun build UConn on OBE all-sports ESPN money...
That formula for UConn isn’t on the table.
Hurley was exposed last year.. and just signed a 7 year deal..
If things go south this year, UConn and the NBE are stuck.

I mean, he's not wrong. There's a big difference between the Big East and the A10. Temple's better off in the AAC, and that Nexus of Eastern PA/New Jersey/Maryland/Northern VA around Philly that Temple exists in is a much better football recruiting base than New England will ever be.
