Every team in the AAC is a loser in this. They have been losers in the whole thing since the AAC was formed. Not one team really even wants to be in the AAC. Everyone is trying to leave if they can but none have big time football and have no other better options. The AAC is the left over loser conference but the LOLC didn’t sound as good the American or AAC so they picked that name instead but they will always be the LOLC to me.

Well going by that the biggest loser is WSU, left a basketball conference and paid to join a conference with UCONN but ended up in a football-first directional school league. Ouch

Nah, Wichita (who, by the way, is functionally a directional) is just happy to be out of the MVC and into what's still a much better conference for basketball even if UConn isn't in it. The geography of the conference actually makes sense for the Western half as well. The AAC was Wichita's only viable lifeboat to a multi-bid conference and they secured it without having to undertake the financial burden of running a football program. Big win for them regardless.

True, but other than Cincinnati Wichita feels the sting the worst when it boils down to who loses with UCONNs departure. A large contingent of AAC fans don’t care about B-Ball and by their reaction on their message board seem pretty glad to see Husky football go away (although they’re most likely lying). Also Wichita fans hate us the most, so having your big brother/ best friend/ significant other ditch you To join your biggest most loathed enemy has to hurt a lot.
