Geez Louise what swagger, what confidence, what humility! The mainstream media is picking your team as a top ten team in the nation. Most of the pundits are picking the Warriors as the team to beat (champions) in the BEast and barbosa (jbarajas0490) declines the honor and deferrs to Nova? What a guy.
And Marquette fans have been clamoring for some sign of life since the reconfig of the conference. Now with this past season and the next they have something to get excited about, cheer for, and pin some great expectations on. Go for it!
Bask in it, revel in it, for the brief moment in the sun. Enjoy it and laugh, have a great hot chocolate with cookies, and run the season thru your head to see Marquette's championship play out. It's a part of that great experience in college basketball, no Golden State dynasty in college ball. The (Marquette) Warriors will probably choke, but better to have a new projected #1 than old faithfuls Nova and Xavier. Fresh perspective on the season. Good luck to the Warriors and to all.

I guess I was spoiled by watching Wade, Novak, Diener, Johnson-Odom, Hayward, Butler, Crowder, even Vander Blue led teams get at least a couple wins in the NCAA. Seems like a life time ago now.
